Im glad that we are openminded enough to allow this person to be a member of the boards. However, Im even happier that he/or she, has shown us that we are more mature than they are, by doing so, and allowing them to spew such garbage as this. Its unintelligible, illiterate, and completely pointless, and downright rude. Dan may have a "size" issue, but we are glad that someone in Southern California is doing something to keep this sport alive and in the eyes of our youth. Thanks for not making your point "for-d-animals" and helping us make ours even stronger. Ben Scanlan- Alabama Board Moderator.
Very well put Dave and well handled I wish these extreme PETA people would take the time to educate themselves on the conservation efforts of outdoor sportsmen before they go on the attack anyway like you said this one probably won't come back
Very Cleverly stated Dave!! I enjoyed your use of great adjectives and descriptives in that post!! Made me miss deer season already!! Limit Your Kill-Not Kill Your Limit Bscanlan
I guess we should realy thank Peta for those coloring books. the more they get out on the streats the more desencetised twards seeing innards of animals. those coloring books sure would have helped me when I was a kid back on the farm. I had a hard time getting used to it, as most people do. I dont know any one who realy enjoys cutting open an animal, the smell takes quite a bit of getting used to, getting blood on your hands is not easy eather, and cracking the bones with a hatchet was realy hard for me to get used to. to bad they dont offer them here in my neiborhood, I would take 5 of them. it sure would make it easyer for me to get the kids used to cleaning their own game. once they see it in a coloring book they are ready for the real thing.
First I wanted to thank you guys for keeping your composure on this subjuct. second I would have liked to have kept "For-d-animals post on the board but her personal insults directed at other mamebers and guest on the board just were not apropreat. We dont allow our anglers to do it here so any one can expect that we wont let non anglers do it eather. It has been our policy to delete post insted of editing them. third is I hope this member dose come back and fires up a debate but it has been my experience with them that once the information is set in font of them they tend to just go away and live and let live. those who dont debate this topic just go on rantting and raveing sencelessly. this invitation stands for any peta person who would like to take the chalange of conducting a peacefull and intellegent conversation minus personal insults twards any one on this board.
No Problem, The hardest part for me, being from Alabama, was looking up all those $4 words I used!! Lets keep up the Support for Dan and his efforts!!
Thank You for your reply to this post Bscanlan my first reaction wasn't going to be as nice as yours so I didn't post anything yes we do allow anyone to post their opinions as twisted as they may be I recently had an issue with PETA people when the Circus came to town and theey were passing out Coloring books to little kids as they were entering the show now these coloring books had pictures of animals with their eyes gouged out and others with their guts split open and hanging out now what is more shocking to a little kid that or seeing an elephant running around a circus ringin my opinion these people have no clue about recreational hunters and fishermen nor do they realize that harvesting animals like Deer helps keep the herd healthy nor do they have an answer to the question that if GOD didn't want us to eat animals then why did he make them out of MEAT
