hit the water after church yeseterday about 1:30. started on north end of lake where i knew it would be colored due to runoff. water temp was in mid-upper 60's. ran chartruece spinnerbait around clumps of cat tails. notta. pitched red/black tube. notta. started slinging buzzbait over the grass and BAM! 13 incher. slung it some more and it looked like missiles coming outa their silos. the bass were comin outa the pockets in the hydrilla. they were small but fun.that finally quit so headed south to run the dam area. good shallow flat on west side of dam dropping off into deep water. picked up 2 blacks on green/purple flake baby brushhog. several "pick-up-and-drops" but couldn't do more. came in and showered and headed back to church. good to be on the water.
