like father , like son ! i can picture many , many years from now three of you out there on the bay , your tube will have the "grandpa on board" sticker !
Welcome back, my son. By the way, have you decided you prefer DSL yet, or are you ready to go back to dial up? (Ha Ha)
Thanks TubeDude!! I got it. You know with all the new looks I just thought it was the internet explorer. Before I was using Netscape. Thanks again! Kiyo www.baytubers.com
Just one of those nagging little details. When you bring up the site, go up to the left hand corner, where it says home. Click on that and you can log in. Once you are logged in, you will stay logged in, unless you go to Internet Options under tools and delete the cookies. When you went to DSL, your system changed and you were no longer "cookied". So, anytime you go to post...or reply...and the heading says "Guest"...instead of "Baytuber"...you are not properly logged in. If you are logged in, and you click on Home, you will be recognized and invited to choose an area to start...hopefully the message boards...and the float tube forum. I have a system at my office that makes me log in every time I visit the BFT boards. Not only that, I have to click on the "refresh" button to see the new messages since the last time I logged on. I really appreciate the DSL system on my computer at home. Unless I use my Norton Disc Doctor to clean up the old cache files and delete the cookies, I am always logged on to BFT. Oh yeah, once you are properly registered, if you just put in the first three or four letters of your BFT name, your whole name will appear. Click on that, and if you are set up right, there will be asterisks for your password. If they come up, click on "login" and you are in. The key, whenever you make any changes in your system, is to log in. Then, every time you want to post or reply, you are automatically posted as the person doing the writing. You have kept us guessing, but we know ya. Let me know if you need a step by step. Like a lot of things, it is designed to be simple, but it is simple to misunderstand.
TubeDude, Don't laugh...... but where's the log in? Kiyo www.baytubers.com
TubeDude, What are you talking about? I'm not logged in? I just thought with the new DSL that the sign ins were different? DUHHHHH! Kiyo
Hey, Kiyo. No wonder he cried. No rod racks, net, fish basket, bait wells or any of the good stuff. Man, I would cry if I had to go afloat without all the trinkets too. But, he's only five. I got my kids started fishing early, but it was not until they were accomplished swimmers and water rats that I put them in a tube. Then I couldn't get them out. Get used to the wail out of the dark: "C'mon Dad...just one more cast." Yeah, you'll have a tubin' buddy in no time. They grow up fast. Sometimes too fast, and other times not fast enough. Great picture. But...why are you not logging in these days? You need to be logged in and registered to participate in some of the contests we run. I would love to submit your pic and post for weekly recognition....But rules is rules.
